American Theater Web!

we just recently read about a website called americantheaterweb.org. its a nice little website that gives you all this information about whats going on in broadway.

the article we read was about a bunch of actors who were up and coming, and they were watching a musical called Broadway on Broadway. 

the people i want to learn more about is Bailey Hanks, from the new Legally Blonde. She is really pretty, and she seems nice. Plus, i saw Legally Blonde when i went to NYC this summer, and it was amazing! Laura Bell Bundy was in it though.

i also want to learn more about the British star Kerry Ellis. she is in Wicked, and i loved that musical. I'm not sure what part she was, but i'd love to learn more about her.

and finally, all three boys who are playing/rotating in the role of Billy Elliot. Their names are Kiri Kulish, David Alvarez, and Trent Kowalik.  I love it when kids play roles because some of them are absolutely amazing actors. Its interesting to see how well they portray their characters.

just got home

i'm back at school now, just got home from west virginia (school trip)! it was ALOT of fun. we white water rafted, did a ropes course, and other nature stuff. when we went, it was pretty warm during the day, and really cold at night. we had alot of free time to do what we wanted, and we had bonfires every night and we would stargaze and one night josh played the guitar and we all sang along to songs. i loved camping, but i couldn't wait to get home and be in my own bed without being afraid of spiders. and to take a really long shower without people yelling at you to get out. once i got home, i jumped in the shower and then got in my bed and fell asleep at 9. the next night i went to a friends and we went to oktoberfest. oktoberfest was really fun, i hadnt been in like two years. but other than those things i haven't done much. the emmys last night were really good. haha thats about it, i have to go to break.

sick =/

i might be sick... i don't know and i don't think i am, but i keep sneezing and sniffling and i feel like poo. I don't have a fever, so maybe its not very bad.
Oh! School dance tonight (: totally forgot. the theme is glow in the dark, that might be exciting! It starts at 10 and ends at 12! middle school dances normally didn't even end until 10. Everyone says its really fun, and maybe since its high school it'll be better than the middle school one. I hope everyone actually goes and its not lame or anything.
I don't plan on dancing with anyone in particular or getting like a boyfriend or something. haha(: i'm just excited for the first highschool dance of my life.

buffy!

we just finished buffy the vampire slayer in actors studio! its like my new favorite show. we learned alot about josh weaton(I think thats his name?) and how he created all these vampire and sci-fi shows that are really successful. the first episode was called hush, and that won some awards and everyone loved it! then the second one we watched was the musical version. when that came out, mrs. st. peter told us alot of other people started making one of their episodes a musical. but the best thing about buffy was the contrast between action and personal life/romance. all i know is i'm totally going to get buffy on dvd.
they're all really addicting. just because i guess the suspense of her romance life and then all the vampires that she fights. those vampires are some of the scariest things i've ever seen! especially in hush. they're really messed up, and have these huuuuge smiles. and they float off the ground. and they also have these little "helpers" and they have straight jackets on and walk around like they have a hump in their back and breathe and grunt all heavily.
the tv show is like one of the greatest things i've ever watched. haha i dunno i guess i'm just into like vampires, and wizards and stuff. not obsessive or anything, i just like the whole "magicness(not even a real word...)" and how its like a different world with cool characters that aren't real.
well thats all i have to say about that... bye for nooooww.

picture day.

today is picture day! i got the fourth season of the office on dvd last night so i spent a good amount of my time almost finishing that. i decided to save the last four episodes for tonight, and try to get some good sleep for once this whole week. this weekend is supposed to be sunny and warm, so i might go to the football game, or i might skip that and swim(: because i havent gotten in my pool all summer...
im just in my study hall, and in 30 minutes were getting our pictures taken. actually when i was writing that sentence we got called to get our pictures taken. yuck it was horrible. i hate picture day. like the HUGE flash and it blinding you.

First time ever writing a blog..

well i haven't really ever written a blog before, so this is kind of new to me. like i don't know what i should talk about... but i wished i could have written a blog on the first day of school! but at my moms she doesn't have internet, and i have been at a funeral so i missed tuesday, and half of wednesday. my week has been pretty boring, just trying to get into the first week groove of high school. so other than that, i've been wanting winter pretty bad. or well cold weather, and fall i guess, too. i've just been pretty sick of this hot weather! very random, but its been on my mind all week. plus, its been pretty cold inside school, and i think showing up in a jacket and pants wouldn't be the most normal thing to do... 

so thats all i can say for this first blog! i get off subject a lot and ramble, so this will be interesting haha...
